Context :
Total targets 35 GW of a renewable generation capacity in 2025 and will continue to expand its business to become a leading international player in renewable energies. Offshore Wind development is one of the key axes of this ambition. Currently, TOTAL Renewables is already a shareholder of 5 Offshore Wind projects in the UK, in the South of France and in South Korea. Multiple additional projects are expected in the next years.
Part of your internship, you will contribute to support Total Renewables’s growth in the offshore wind area and join our first ever floating offshore wind project.In an industry that is reshaping the world’s energy future, there’s no better place to be!

The position can be based in Paris or London but will in the first place be performed remotely due to the current situation.

Missions :
Reporting to the Deputy Technical Manager, you will be an integral part of the project team supporting delivery of the project objectives.  Your activities will include: -
·  Directly interface with all technical package managers and facilitate their work
·  Regularly review technical scope and progress, propose improvements and identify gaps and solutions
·  Follow up of engineering studies and prepare documents for technical and engineering decisions to be made
·  Input to and management of elements of the engineering budget and program,
·  Input into the development of DEVEX, CAPEX and OPEX estimations,
·  Input to specification preparation and procurement activities
·  Contribute to draft tender documents, coordinating tenders and following up contracts for specific engineering tasks,

Profil recherché

We are looking to hire an Offshore Wind Projectintern, to join the Blue Gem Project Teamfor a 4 to 6 months period, from February 1st.
This internship would suit a Master’s Degree Engineering student, with 2 previous successful internship experiences. A previous experience or at least knowledge in the offshore wind or renewable energy would be highly appreciated.
Rigor, autonomy and excellent organization skills with the ability to manage own workload, meet timescales and coordinate with a number of external and internal stakeholders (especially in the current remote work set-up).
Bilingual English-French and able to adapt in a multicultural and international team
Advanced user of Microsoft Office
