Job Description
The Information Systems team currently seeks to appoint the IS Workflow & Automation Specialist
Solution Design, Development and Maintenance
· Works with all relevant internal business stakeholders (including IT) to drive high business value solutions focused on solving problems and enhancing decision-making with data and information.
· Ensures understanding of the subject matter through relevant liaison with all key stakeholders
· Works closely with business stakeholders, translating their business requirements into functional specifications, and advises and/or evaluates feasibility of implementation based on the requirements submitted.
· Actively develops solutions for supportability through a well-designed architecture, data model, and lifecycle.
· Facilitates detailed business requirements documentation, document preparation which includes developing requirements with stakeholders who have difficulty articulating them, understanding the business processes and desired outcomes.
· Drives the development and support of self-service data and analytic solutions that empower the customer to explore and manage data insights.
· Collaborates cross-functionally, to share knowledge, ensure alignment and demonstrate unified IT solutions and services.
· Proposes and develops new workflows/processes, and participates in testing and realization
· Facilitates the prioritization of BI projects, together with relevant IT stakeholders and management, based on business needs, and available resources
· Provides support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for business users
· Performs maintenance changes to existing DMS, and workflows/processes as required
· Assists with development and deployment of documentation related to DMS and automated workflows (policies, procedures, works instructions, support manuals, as a applicable)
· Develops, enhances existing BI solution and evaluates emerging BI technologies and/or best practice
· To market the successes and use cases/possibilities of the BI tool to the entire organization through daily interactions Relationship Management
· Ensures strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as applicable
· Works with group contacts and counterparts well, ensuring good relationships are maintained and that local and group environment and context is understood
· Works well with suppliers to ensure good understanding and support of the environment, as required Risks and Controls
· Ensures that risk management elements and identification of business-critical services/applications are incorporated into each responsibility, as applicable
· Maintains a safe work environment by following all relevant rules, standards and policies and actively seeks to know them and understand them
· Develops policies, procedures, works instructions as applicable to the key job functions.

Candidate profile
· A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Technical Data Solution Design, Build and Analysis
· Business Analyst qualification
· IT or Information Systems degree is essential
· Knowledge of SQL will be an advantage
· Excellent competency or previous experience with Document Management Systems, automation or business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Kofax, Planet Press, Docuware, etc.
· Good competency with MS Office suite of applications as a priority
