The thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions business area is a leading partner for the engineering, construction and service of all industrial plants and systems. In addition to chemical, coke, cement and other industrial plants and refineries, our portfolio also includes mining, ore processing and port handling equipment along with corresponding services. The Business Unit Services is organized into four globally acting business lines: Parts Supply & Management, Field Services & Service Centers, Revamps & Asset Management. These go to market primarily through Service Hubs which are located within the regional organization of tk Industrial Solutions. The Business Unit Service is supported and developed by a single staff function – Global Service - combining a range of key functions, among them the portfolio development of service products.

Ihre Aufgaben

As Portfolio Development Manager you will be responsible for scouting ideas for new service products and business models, selecting the most promising for further development and following a market analysis for setting targets for a service product.

·  Generate/find ideas for new service products and business models and define structured idea sourcing
·  Selection of promising ideas for further development
·  Guidelines for the service-portfolio (value-proposition, revenue model)
·  Strong collaboration with New Build Business Units regarding implementation of design-for-service
·  Development of new service concepts and business models
·  Market, customer and competitor observation in cooperation with other departments of the Business Unit Service and New-Build Business Units
·  Detection of mega/technology trends like Industry 4.0 or E-Mobility

Ihr Profil

·  The role requires education to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, service management)
·  At least three years of professional experience in a similar function
·  Knowledge of one or more of the customer segments of tk Industrial Solutions as well as knowledge and experience in the field of portfolio development
·  Good conceptual and analytical skills to be able to cope with a great variety and diversity of topics
·  Excellent social and communicational skills to be able to work and lead in very different team constellations
·  Fluent English, knowledge of another foreign language is desirable
·  Strong commitment and proactive attitude, goal-orientation and assertiveness
·  Very good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
·  Intercultural experience and willingness to travel internationally
