Thomson Reuters is looking for an Administrative Sales Support for Financial & Risk Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities

·  *Serves as a primary resource for sales and account management teams to understand content/product offerings, business policies, commissions, order processing, credits, promotions, incentives and procedures and assists in problem solving all issues.
·  *When necessary and appropriate, communicates pricing and product information to customers directly.
·  *Consults with management on the effect of policies and procedures on business goals and assists in developing and implementing policy and procedure changes in a fair and consistent manner.
·  *Completes administrative tasks as directed by Sales Operations management, which may include reviewing customer facing collateral material.
·  *Maintains and enhances internal Sales related communication systems.
·  Conducts product, policy and sales tool training to sales professionals regarding content, pricing, and promotions.
·  *Serves as a consultant on best practices and knowledge sharing related to new products and promotions.
·  *May provide logistical support for national and regional sales meetings and other events as needed.

Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies

·  Comprehensive knowledge of business products and processes
·  Solid understanding and experience with detailed technology projects
·  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to apply knowledge and creativity to resolve standard and complex client issues, improving service offerings
·  Strong communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
·  Organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
·  Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast paced work environment
·  Ability to troubleshoot and make appropriate decisions based on knowledge of business objectives
·  Confident, helpful, customer-oriented phone presence required
·  Proven ability to take on multiple projects and see them to completion successfully
·  Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimum supervision

Education

University/college degree may be required, equivalent experience may be considered depending on position/department.

Professional Experience

Working knowledge of business systems.
Experience with coordinating projects such as testing of incremental technology releases of application software.
