General
Thales International is a structure managing the development of commercial relationships and international operations of Thales Group. Regarding our activity development, there is a need for a Sales Operations VIE. Thales provides innovative solutions for China's infrastructures (backbone for the country's growth). With more than 30 years' development in China, Thales has been already a trusted partner for Chinese aviation and urban rail transportation industries.
Thales in China employs around 1300 people with 18 different nationalities and out of which 28% are female employees as the group is promoting diversity and inclusion.
Thales is present in China for over 30years in the fields of Aerospace, Transportation and Security. Thales' strategy is to boost its local presence partnering with local players.
Thales China is looking for a Sales Operations Manager VIE, based in Beijing for a contract of 12 months renewable, starting on the 1th of December 2017.
Skills Required
Eligible candidates must have a business master degree or an international studies master degree with a 2 years' experience in the same field.
Do you speak and write fluently French and English?
Are you independent and able to work in a changing and challenging environment?
Are you flexible and a fast learner?
Are you recognized for your strong analytical and computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point)?
Are you willing to operate in an international environment?
Chinese would be a nice to have.
Role Description
As part as the Thales China Sales and Business Development team, you will Report to the Sales and Business development Director. You will be working in a pivotal role Within Thales North Asia. You will provide trusted management information to enable the Executive to make decisions.
You will support VP North Asia and North Asia Country Directors in the preparation, management and analysis of key company processes, including Monthly and Quarterly report and bi-annual 5 years forecasts. You will establishes and track order intake.
As North Asia administrator for Thales Global Customer Relationship Management tool, you will implement processes and tools required to optimise Sales Operations, ensure the quality of sales data and train users.
Depending on the ability to perform efficiently in the job you may have the possibility to support Thales China Marketing and Strategy Director on other activities.
This position will require occasional business trip to other Thales North Asia offices.
