In view of our growing activities, we are looking for a Bid Management VIE to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia . Thales Malaysia is responsible for representing the Group in promoting and marketing specialized electronic systems and also supporting other Thales entities in sales.

WHO ARE YOU?
· You have a Business or Engineering degree with I nternational Marketing and Sales specialization ?
· You have a two years' experience ? With knowledge in Defense, transportation and aeronautic
· You have knowledge of International Trade, Contract Management and Finance ?
· You have structured and analytical mindset with attention to detail?
· You are able to operate in an international environment and have a real curiosity for Asian culture ?
· You are looking for new challenges which include solving problems in complex and long lead business environment?
· You are a real team player with good communication skills?
· You speak and write fluently English ?

WHAT COULD WE ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER?
Reporting to Thales Malaysia's Bid Manager, the VIE will cover for a range of Transportation, Defense and Services related bids taking place in Malaysia.
As Bid Manager you will be in charge of analyzing customer needs, competition, and Thales positioning to determine the bid strategy. In conjunction with the Capture Leader and Key Account Manager/Sales Manager you will prepare The Gate Business Case and drive the validation process within the respective Thales organizations.
The key focus of this role is to develop Thales Malaysia local business and operations capability to secure new business while improving Thales local footprint . This position will permit you to work with multi-disciplinary Bid Teams (Technical, Finance, Commercial, Legal, Quality, HSE, Operations) and business functions both locally and abroad to deliver high quality business winning proposals .
You will lead the set-up of Thales Malaysia overall costing and of the technical & industrial proposal (including offsets) and Conduct negotiations and clarification sessions with the Customer.
You will also have the opportunity to enforce Thales Sales and Bid Process (Gate/IGTR/MRBOA etc.) within Thales Malaysia organization, Customize and implement Thales processes and tools according to local specificities.
