About the role:

You will be in a fun, supportive and creative environment where you will be expected to utilise your problem solving and superior customer service skills.

As a member of the Service Desk team you will provide 1st level support with the aim of meeting Service Level Agreements. Thales will provide the necessary ‘on the job' training, you will be working with a buddy, training you on the help desk issues that arise.

Key responsibilities:

· Communicate with customers on system outages/faults over the telephone and email
· Log, monitor and manage customers' Incidents and Requests for assistance to ensure that Service Level Agreement targets are met
· Use Remote access tools to support customers
· Provide basic VPN support and mobile handset support to corporate users.
· Install software using remote tools

Key Skills and Experience:

· Impeccable communication and customer service skills along with a strong work ethic and a high attention to detail
· Previous experience in a Customer Service role
· Experience troubleshooting hardware and software with a working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems including windows 10, Microsoft Office applications, Visio and project would be a real bonus

Special requirements:

You must be able to obtain an Defence Security Clearance and access information covered by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
