The Role:

The New Product Introduction Project Manageris responsible for the ongoing product changes for specific engineering systems, e.g. Body, Chassis, Charger, Battery, etc.

Responsibilities:

·  Develop and lead program milestone reviews, including presenting to executive leadership, and provide clear project direction and status, including recovery plans as necessary
·  Clear, frequent communication between cross-functional teams to achieve Material, Hiring/training, Process Development/Implementation, and Equipment Implementation targets for product launch.
·  Motivate and drive results through cross-functional teams in engineering, supply chain, quality, production, and executive leadership to support product launch and issue resolution
·  Author weekly project status reports and issue resolution tracking reports
·  Drive implementation of material flow from warehouse to line including conveyance, pedigree segregation, consumption, and bill of material validation.
·  Work with Design Engineering teams to create and maintain bills of materials
·  Communicate changes to the cross-functional team for integration into launch preparation activities

Qualifications:

·  2+ years working in an Operations role, experience with Product Launch preferred
·  Effective communicator across varying levels of an organization, and demonstrated success leading cross-functional project teams.
·  Critical to have a firm understanding of how production lines transform inputs into quality outputs, including manufacturing, business systems, and material flow processes.
·  Experienced at assessing manufacturability, and able to clearly articulate issues and propose resolutions. A key indicator of success is driving this feedback upstream and achieving root cause resolution.
·  Excellent organizational skills
·  Team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with cross-functional teams
·  BA/BSor the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
