The Role

The Sr. Incentive Configuration Analyst will play a key part in the design, delivery and administration of Tesla’s global sales compensation plan configuration and maintenance in Xactly. You must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, make sound business decisions, be detail oriented, and deliver results on a company-wide scale.

Responsibilities

·  Configure incentive compensation plans in Xactly.
·  Maintain policies, procedures and controls for implementation of compensation plans.
·  Provide day-to-day support for ticket inquiries and audit of data integrity.
·  Communicate configuration changes and provide training support for team members.
·  Establish and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as plan design, sales operations, and HRIS teams.
·  Assist with gathering of data, including building of Analytics reports, for ad-hoc sales compensation analysis and modeling.
·  Partner with finance and sales leadership to fully understand sales compensation plans.
·  Manage the sales compensation calculation and payout process globally.
·  Hands on management of plan configuration changes, including plan, formula and rule building.
·  Conduct analyses for use in design of sales compensation plans.
·  Commit to getting the job done no matter what it takes.

Desired profile

Requirements

·  3-5 years of sales compensation experience leveraging Xactly in a configuration capacity role.
·  In debth understanding of overall Xactly system, including general configuration principles and sequence of order processing with closed/open periods.
·  Xactly Level II or higher certification highly desirable.
·  Bachelor’s degree required or the equivalent in experience. Business administration, finance, economics, or other quantitative focus preferred.
·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.
·  Possess high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence.
·  Solutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on problem solving.
·  Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
·  Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency.
·  Exceptional written and verbal communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
