Role: Supervisor Production, Body-in-White

Responsible for meeting production demand for the line by addressing bottlenecks, balancing manpower and developing countermeasures on quality and equipment issues.

Responsibilities

·  Understand the bottlenecks of your line and allocate resources accordingly to achieve production output
·  Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process and support no defects from leaving a station or team area.
·  Establish countermeasures for quality flow out by conducting root cause investigation and implementing corrective actions
·  Identify critical risks in the production processes and work with cross functional teams like Manufacturing Process Engineers and Quality Engineers to resolve the issue.
·  Develop & maintain Standardized Work Instructions used by the production associates.
·  Maintain compliance with all safety regulations
·  Develop training programs and hire plans for production associates.
·  Manage and approve timecards for team members

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Experience working in a Body Shop manufacturing environment (preferred)
·  Demonstrate leadership experience.
·  Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills
·  Knowledge of production systems and processes
·  Experience in new product development and launch activities
·  Familiarity with quality standards and inspection techniques.
·  Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
·  Demonstrate problem solving skills (man, method, machine, material, etc...)
·  Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
·  Create a proactive and positive environment amidst tough circumstances
·  Develop a culture of ownership and accountability
·  Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
·  Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
·  Ability to accommodate shift/schedule changes on short notice at the need of the business.
