The Role

The Order Operations Specialist is a member of the global sales operations team, and helps to ensure the accurate handling of customer orders in Tesla’s systems. This is not a customer facing role.

Responsibilities

• Responds to information requests related to orders from Sales, Delivery, Service and other departments throughout the organization

• Investigates system discrepancies quickly and finalizes solutions

• Analyzes data within Excel and assists with special projects

• Records information and ensures quality of data in Salesforce and other internal systems that support sales, production and financial management

• Articulates specific ideas on how to further refine systems or processes

• Participates in testing of new and updated system logic and procedures

• Backs up complementary order ops functions as needed (i.e. processing cancellations)

Desired Skills

• 2+ years experience in an operationally-related role or within the automotive industry

• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to adapt to frequent change

• Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines

• Comfort working with multiple teams and colleagues from various management levels

• Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment

• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume

• Experience with Salesforce a plus
