The Role

We are currently hiring goal-oriented Material Handlers for our Fremont, CA. factory. This individual will be driven to succeed and will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the parts distribution warehouse. This will include assisting technicians, service advisors, and sales personnel by locating and acquiring parts from the manufacturers cataloguing system, assisting stores with acquiring and invoicing of parts and accessories purchases, and supporting production by conveying inventory to manufacturing lines. The Material Handler will also stock and organize parts inventory.

Responsibilities:

·Manage space optimization within the distribution center

·Ensure timely receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping of inventory to store locations and external customers

·Support production by conveying parts between the distribution center and manufacturing lines

·Communicate with and support management of inventory within the distribution center, including daily control of cycle counts of the distribution center inventor

·Support commercial invoicing, shipping documentation, and country-of-origin info, as needed, to support international shipping

·Optimize packaging for all outbound shipments

·Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies

Desired profile

Requirements:

·A valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record (subject to review)

·Robust forklift driving experience

·Recent and relevant experience in automotive parts dealership, store or distribution center environment

·Warehouse/Material Handling experience in a large manufacturing environment strongly preferred

·Recent experience driving conveyance equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or tuggers

·Working knowledge of major inventory systems such as SAP or Oracle

·Data entry experience required, working knowledge of Excel preferred

·Must be able to lift 45 lbs. on a regular, repetitive basis

·Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential

·Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment with various teams

·Professional, can-do attitude

·Ability to adhere to Distribution Center business processes and policies

·Robust organizational skills to manage and track transactional details

·Excellent interpersonal, math, and written/verbal communication skills

·Ability to work well as part of a team
