The Role
The DMV Fleet Specialist is part of the sales operations team who will work collectively with DMV and Fleet departments on proper practices and procedures necessary to keep Tesla compliant in the field of DMV Operations in the US.
Responsibilities
·Processing of DMV registrations related to Tesla Fleet Inventory in the US up to and including all Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles
·Keep compliance with Tesla Company owned vehicle registrations as it pertains to Fleet Operations
·Processing of Fleet HOV/Carpool stickers
·Ensure that the vehicles that require a registration plate have valid registration and stickers
·Serves as an authority on vehicle registration rules by geography, keeping abreast of changes as they are announced, and communicating them to the team in a timely manner
·Maintain Tesla Dealer and Manufacturer license plate inventory
·Work cross-functionally with internal teams as well as teams in the field to gather information, get updates, and fulfill requests pertaining to Fleet Operations
·Participate in testing of new and updated systems and processes as well as creating and refining existing processes
·Maintains Fleet vehicle files, registrations and titles
·Assist with periodic physical inventory Fleet Audits

·Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment
·Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume
·Ability to work across multiple systems; experience with Salesforce.com a plus
·Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
