TechnipFMC are looking for a bright and talented intern to work over the summer in a full or part-time capacity.

The purpose of the internship is to introduce engineering students to TechnipFMC Subsea Engineering roles and responsibilities.

Major Functions of the Intern will be to:

Ā·  Familiarize with Subsea Engineering deliverables, Interns will assist in creating and developing Engineering documentation throughout the internship.
Ā·  Assisting project engineers with the compilation of tender deliverables including installation method statements, equipment lists, field layout drawings, etc.
Ā·  Assisting project engineers working on projects with the compilation of project deliverables eg. installation procedures, rigging design calculations, mobilisation plans, etc.
Ā·  Miscellaneous engineering admin tasks to support project engineers on tenders and projects.
Ā·  Updating/ revisions of engineering technical notes.

Requirements
Ā·  Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Petroleum or Subsea Engineering
Ā·  Have been exposed to fundamentals in communication protocols and networking
Ā·  Willingness to have a customer-oriented attitude & the ability to work independently without supervision.
Ā·  Can demonstrate interpersonal communication skills.
Ā·  Fluent written and spoken English & strong verbal and written technical communication.
Ā·  Good PC skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software).

This opportunity is open to anyone in their 2nd - 4th year of studies, but not yet graduated.

The role will be working in West Perth on a part time or full time arrangement
