POSITION SUMMARY

The Shop Assistant will be located out of the Red Deer shop and report to the Service Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Maintain field equipment when in shop

·Pressure test, repair and rebuild field equipment at shop

·Inventory parts and equipment weekly

·Record keeping of all scheduled maintenance

·Supervise assistant maintenance technicians

·Maintain clean and safe work environment

·Handles special projects, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

·High School Diploma or GED

·Mechanically inclined

·2 – 3 years oil and gas field experience preferred

·Familiarity with field equipment and repair

·Microsoft Office:Outlook, Excel, Word.

·Heavy lifting required

·Organized and detail oriented

·Handle multiple projects and be able to set priorities and achieve project deadlines

·Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
