Offshore LQ & Building Architect / Structural Engineer

TPFMC is recruiting an Offshore Architect for its offshore projects. The Offshore Architect will join a team of about 40 people in the Offshore Structural/Architectural Department. The Offshore Architectural Department oversees the design for living quarters, technical E&I building and machinery space of FPSO and FLNG.

The Offshore Architect is responsible of living quarters and/or technical building arrangement and specification.

The candidate should ideally have a first experience in Offshore accommodation platform or in marine shipping and minimum have an engineering master degree or equivalent. The position is also opened to structural engineers willing to develop architectural skills.

The Offshore Architect will be based in TechnipFMC Paris office. He will:

-Develop design philosophy and functional specification

-Develop specification for purchase

-Develop architectural general arrangement in line with Company requirement and National regulation

-Manage 3D model review of living quarters and/or technical building.

-Prepare architectural schedule (doors,windows)

-Check drawings before issuance

-Produce bills of materials

-Promote cost efficient solution

-Participate to Offshore Architectural Department working methods and standards continuous improvement

-Promote the TechnipFMC Quality, Health, Safety & Environment values

-Report operationally to the Offshore Architectural Lead on projects and hierarchically to the Head of Department

English fluent is required.
