RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties. Typically will interface with departmental staff. Commitment to customer service is important. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities. Accuracy and attention to detail. Required to interpret job requirements and coordinate equipment needed.

MAIN TASKS:

¡Oversee inventory control functions and procedures in accordance with the guidelines of the facility.

¡Plan, schedule, and communicate workload/activities for associates in their direct work area.

¡Periodically discuss inter-department activities with other Coordinators, Production Controllers or Supervisors.

¡Knowledge of FMC Fluid Control products.

¡Follow all FMC Safety Procedures

¡Maintain housekeeping in responsible areas in neat and organized manner per 6's requirements.

¡Complete all material handling functions as required to meet Departmental goals or as back up for Material Handlers.

¡Basic SAP transactions

¡Perform tasks in accordance with the established SOPs, desktop procedures and QAPs.

¡Operate all Traffic and Logistics equipment in a safe and effective manner.

¡Ability to train associates on Compliance guidelines and use of Compliance tools

¡Must participate in daily safety/quality meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:

¡High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

¡SAP Knowledge preferred.

¡Accuracy and attention to detail important.

¡Basic written and verbal communication skills in English are important.

¡Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is important.

¡PC skills including Excel spreadsheet and Word processing.

¡Must be physically able to perform duties, as defined in job description.

¡Ability to read and understand drawings. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

¡Show evidence of independence and be a self-starter to accomplish daily tasks and goals efficiently.

¡Typically will interface with departmental staff. Commitment to customer service is important.

¡Must be able to work varied schedule with extended hours.

¡Ability to understand and execute the Core Values.

¡Typically 2+ years related industry experience.

¡Intermediate level position, utilizing basic skills learned previously applying them with increasing independence-able to do tasks as assigned.

¡Ability to identify deviations from standards.

¡Selects from among clear and simple choices based upon previously defined procedures and practices. Possesses sufficient inductive and deductive reasoning ability to perform job successfully.

¡Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important.

·Generally characterized as a “Task Completer”. Requires decision made within established procedures which usually involve the evaluation of basic alternatives such as the method of performing work or the sequence for performing assigned work.

¡Keeps team and supervisor informed regarding the progress and status of work activities.

¡To be successful in this role, it is critical to be able to think and act independently on assigned projects. While supervision is readily available at this level, and the role is still relatively supportive in project work, it will be necessary to demonstrate increasingly more ability to troubleshoot and solve problems and overall project issues independently in or to advance to the next level within the career ladder.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : Spends most of the time in Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving/Manufacturing areas as well as time spent outside. Exposed to possible shop hazards including high noise and heavy equipment inside, and exposed to elements and environmental hazards outside the facility. May be required to work at heights 25 feet or less.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :Must be able to work varied schedule with extended hours. Standing and walking for extended periods. Some computer work at desk or stand up station. Heavy lifting may be required. Quick paced environment with variety of activities and people involved.
