IT Service Desk Intern

At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for an IT Service Desk Intern who can join our team in Odessa, Texas. You will have the opportunity to assist with software and hardware troubleshooting, password resets, operating system reinstalls and upgrades, software installation, phone support, and remote support, etc.

Job description

ยท  Respond to service requests keeping ticketing system up to date
ยท  User support over the phone, remotely by use of software, and in person
ยท  Application and Hardware Troubleshooting
ยท  Keeping accurate asset inventory
ยท  Microsoft Office and Windows configuration and troubleshooting
ยท  Troubleshooting network printers and multifunction copiers / scanners
ยท  Application troubleshooting
ยท  Transferring and verifying user data during computer upgrades and replacements
ยท  Mobility troubleshooting, device configurations, registration, inventory management, transfers

You are meant for this job if

ยท  Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, required
ยท  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service desk position required
ยท  Flexible problem-solving skills
ยท  Ability to multi-task and prioritize time based on ticket severity
ยท  Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and Office suites
ยท  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
ยท  Minimum 3.0 GPA required
