Missions and Responsabilities

You will be involved on onshore and offshore projects and you will be responsible for the selection of paint/coating systems for the protection of materials in various environments. You will specify insulation materials for piping and equipment. You will also provide support to Purchasing, Construction, and Inspection teams for the follow up of coating/insulation applications.

Your knowledge of corrosion processes is essential for the implementation of insulation and painting systems.

You will be in charge of:

· 
reviewing client specifications

· 
writing insulation and painting specifications in respect of contract and applicable codes and standards

· 
reviewing and commenting suppliers and subcontractors technical offers

· 
proposing technical improvement while respecting budget and timing

· 
establishing Material Take Off for insulation and painting

· 
acting as a technical support for the other disciplines and entities

During the bid phase, you will be in charge of the technical dossier and of the verification of the contract requirements.

You will develop, capitalize, consolidate and share know-how/knowledge of the Discipline.

Profile

Graduate from an Engineering school or equivalent (Master of Engineering/Science/PhD in Materials/Chemical), you have got training in Corrosion and material activities. A Painting / insulation specialization is preferable but not required. you've got basic knowledge of Insulation / Painting norms and international standards for industries.

Dynamic, autonomous, determined, with good communication skills, you can easily work in multicultural environments.

Fluent in English.

You are willing to travel occasionally in France and over the world.
