Instrumentation spécialist

Location : Lyon (Vaulx-en-Velin)

Assignment :

As a specialist in Instrumentation, Automation, Analyzers, you take part to projects in the petrochemicals, chemicals, life sciences and industry fields from the design phase to the commissioning on site going through the detailed engineering, acceptance tests and construction monitoring.

You functionally report to the Head of Instrumentation, Automation Department and operationally to the Project Manager.

You are in charge of carrying out:

· 
Prepare the detail files related to the implementation of control systems,

· 
Manage the data bases related to information systems,

· 
Define the operator interfaces,

· 
Write out the specifications, functional analyses and requisitions,

· 
Estimate and recommend the suppliers bids on a technical basis,

· 
Monitor the purchase orders on a technical basis,

· 
Manage the supplier documentation,

· 
Coordinate the technical aspects with the discipline squad leaders,

· 
Analyze and define the process control and safety,

· 
Analyze standards on a technical basis,

· 
Select the technologies to be implemented,

· 
Assist inspection people when in mission in the plant,

· 
Chair meetings with suppliers,

· 
Carry out commissioning missions on site.

Beyond these technical skills, you also have management and team facilitating skills (in-house and external) encompassing schedule and cost optimization aspects. You will have to coordinate one or several subcontractors.

Profile:

You have an Engineer training or a 2 year university degree in industrial control and automation, you have a 3 year minimum experience in Instrumentation in engineering in the petrochemical, chemical, industry and nuclear fields. An experience in life sciences and versatility in weak current would be an asset.

You have knowledge in construction and subcontracting.Being aware of Autocad 3D software would be appreciated.

Your adaptability, common sense, analyzing capacities and communication skills are essential assets to succeed in this position. You have a good command of English and you are mobile for short-stay travels.
