Engineer - Graduate Program , Subsea Engineering

TechnipFMC Graduate Program is a one-year onboarding program. You will be assigned a personal mentor and included in the Graduate family where you can share knowledge, information and experiences. During the program you will be provided with a lot of relevant training and development opportunities, and also closely followed up and supported by your mentor and manager through monthly meetings. You will be a part of our Subsea Engineering department team, based at our office in Lysaker or Kongsberg. Subsea Engineering is a fast-paced exciting environment. Expect to get your hands dirty. Training is executed through on-the-job training and development from participation in our breakthrough projects. Expect to be challenged with exciting work from the start.

Job description

You will be assigned specific tasks or packages on a project where you will report to the Lead Engineer. You will also perform discipline tasks where you will report to your Discipline Supervisor. Our Subsea Engineering positions include:

·  Design and engineering of our products
·  Establishing specifications for procurement of equipment and follow up of our suppliers and subcontractors
·  Establish plans and philosophies for technical safety and reliability and materials selection and corrosion protection on system level
·  Participate in design reviews
·  Plan and prepare (prepare procedures and material lists, perform analysis, interface checks, operability evaluations amongst others) for offshore operations and mobilisations / de-mobilisations of installation vessels.
·  In some of the roles you will receive practical experience as offshore project engineer onboard Construction Vessels, Dive Support Vessels, Survey Vessels or Pipelay Vessels
·  Functionally reports to: Discipline Supervisor, Subsea Projects. Operationally reports to: Project Lead Engineer


You are meant for this job if:

·  You have an Engineering Degree (Master, Bachelor or equivalent).This position suits graduated engineers with major area of study within materials technology, mechanical engineering, static and dynamic analyses, hydrodynamics, marine engineering, cybernetics, and chemical / process engineering.
·  You have good verbal and written English
·  You are proactive and eager to learn
·  You are able to work in a multicultural environment
