Job description

Job Title: GEOS World Release and Deployment Coordinator

Job purpose : Ensure that the control of future enhancements and fixes to be deployed to GEOS Pre-Production and GEOS Production are successful and are fully documented. This includes technical, functional or infrastructure related changes.

Provide guidance on, management of and governance of the release process, ensuring the integrity and stability of the GEOS Production instance is never compromised.

Ensure release control is considered from initial submission, through delivery and deployment, to post implementation review. Working closely with the GEOS World Change Analyst to ensure delivery alignment and needs of the business are met.

The role will provide guidance on GEOS change & release process, with the key objective of certifying that the team meet the safeguards in place, which ensure the operational stability & integrity of GEOS Production.

Key interactions (internally, externally):


Internally with: GEOS World Operations Manager, GEOS World Change Management Analyst, group change management services (Finance, Infrastructure, …), GEOS Program Managers, System Architect

Externally with: Third party Support to the GEOS Production instance.

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):

The job consists of the following activities:

· Define, collaborate and maintain the release calendar, taking into consideration the GEOS World release strategy, Production maintenance activities, infrastructure maintenance activities, business calendars & communicate the GEOS release calendar to GEOS community and make it available in the GEOS World portal. Ensure that the defined production release process is strictly applied
· Ensure TechnipFMC templates and Document Control Standards are applied
· Liaise with the Change Management Analyst and Rollout Managers, to identify realistic and attainable release dates which do not conflict with regular maintenance carried out by our internal and external stakeholders or agreed key business dates. Feedback to GEOS CAB any potential issues in regards to release items to prod. Stay abreast of any major deviations from roll out plan and ensure projected release does not conflict.
· Maintain the structure, ensuring data validity of the relevant change management tool on behalf of the operations manager. Communicates the changes applied to the GEOS World community
· Formalize with the GEOS World Operation Manager the confirmation of production application and ensure that it is well documented.
· Verify & Check the release items. Create, update and close associated change request for application delivery, on the GEOS RUN instances (Pre-production & Production).
· Provide feedback to the relevant team when issues are identified
· Document control to prepare, manage and file GEOS Documents using Oracle document repository, ie. Beehive. Ensuring all GEOS & Oracle team members have access to necessary area where the read only documentation resides.
· Communicate all enhancement and defect items, to all relevant stakeholders by means of means of release note/BI Report to be published in one agreed area weekly
· Ensure GEOS documentation complies with the TechnipFMC Global Document Control Strategy and relevant SOX & Audit Controls Add Undertake, document management requests from GEOS & 3rd Party support teams.
· Change control for Release items. All supporting documentation for release items are issued in a timely manner to Oracle document repository.

Typical background and experience required:

Must have:
· Previous experience working with ERP systems
· Good organisational skills, be well structured with excellent attention to detail
· The ability to effectively apply processes
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Collaborative spirit to work with the several I.T. and business stakeholders
· Follow the processes, procedures agreed with the group and the GEOS program
· Capabilities to communicate with local and external people.
