At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are looking for a Cost Engineer (M/F) who can join our multicultural team in Paris to:
· Estimate total project cost at completion
· Confirm/update the expected project profitability valuation and ensure the information is reliable
Job description
Your main responsibilities will be to (but not limited to):
· Set up Cost Control Procedures
· Set up Budgets and the specific tool to follow the project costs
· Estimate Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs and Expected Outcomes
· Provide support to the Risk Manager to prepare the Quantitative Risk Analysis
· Approve commitment control and vendor/subcontractors invoice
· Assist Project Managers in optimizing and improving the budgeted profits
· Prepare change orders / claims, and follows up
· Generate monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)
· Develop cash flows on monthly basis
· Develop statistical and close-out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals
· Comply with and implement both company and client HSE Management System objectives and procedures, as well as Quality standards and policies, and other applicable company procedures
Key interactions:
Directly supervises: Cost Controller
Internally: Project Manager, Project Engineering teams and other internal departments as required
Externally: Client, potential subcontractors, and vendors
You are meant for this role if you have/ are:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
· 4 to 5 years of experience in related field
· Professional English
· Knowledge of cost control tools and methodologies
· Solid analytical and problem solving skills
· Establish good relationship and cooperation with colleagues in the project
