PURPOSE:

¡Contracts Specialist will be directly responsible to Contracts Manager (Europe & Africa) and will fill the (currently vacant) role of supporting the supplier contracting needs for the Subsea Infrastructure group based in Le Trait, certain local indirect procurement needs (e.g., IT needs) and support French-language specific matters in Europe and Africa.

¡Contracts Specialist will lead the review, negotiation, and administration of supply chain contracts (e.g., strategic, frame, volume discount) in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and TechnipFMC Guidelines, with minimal supervision.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

What are the MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS an employee MUST HAVE in order to perform the duties of the position (i.e. educational requirements, licenses, certification, work experience, training, etc.)

¡Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Law, Political Science, Economics or a related field. Applicable Master's degree or Juris Doctorate is preferable.

¡Minimum of 3-5 years experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating and managing contracts. Experience in the oil and gas and/or technology industry is preferable. Candidates with a JD require 0-2 years of relevant experience.

¡Good understanding of business operations with the ability to thoroughly, but pragmatically assess risk therein

¡Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications

¡PC skills including spreadsheet, presentations, word processing, etc.

¡Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

¡Fluent in both English and French

¡Broad ranging training on TechnipFMC's individual business offerings within the Subsea, Surface and Onshore/Offshore business units, and how those apply to TechnipFMC's integrated offering(s).

Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and apply all applicable TechnipFMC policies and procedures

Review, draft, negotiate and manage terms and conditions (legal and commercial)

E

Handle his or herself in a professional and dignified manner.

Interface with suppliers of varying degrees of sophistication to finalize terms in a timely and satisfactory manner

E

Provide timely and informed support to key internal stakeholders of all levels, including for Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Commercial & Tenders, and Projects. This includes:

¡Provision of thorough risk evaluation for management's consideration

¡Supplier-facing Legal & Contracts support, especially as regards form of agreement, special terms and conditions, financial securities, insurance requirements, negotiation, and deviation approval

¡Customer-facing Legal & Contracts tender support, especially as regards flowdown implementation and project requirements

¡Liaise with stakeholders to ensure implementation of company initiatives, such as payment terms or other financing mechanisms, Compliance or public policy requirements, due diligence, etc.

¡Support of special purpose and strategic agreements

¡Contract administration, including handling of variations and claims, through project execution

Contribute to business strategy by proposing and implementing creative solutions that further business objectives while minimizing or mitigating risk.

Ensure proper and consistent administration of applicable contracts from cradle to grave

Attend and host meetings (virtual or in-person, internal or external).

Establish and maintain exceptional working relationships with counterparts in the Legal & Contracts environment.

Guide deviation approvals through the appropriate approval process. Ensure all appropriate stakeholders are advised and all approvals are properly obtained and documented.

Participate in or lead, as appropriate, the development and maintenance of relevant Global Supplier Contracting procedures and templates
