MES System Expert

Job-description

You will be responsible to assure coordinated and consistent modelling and future development of EM Microelectronic’s MES and EI environment. You are the solution architect for the MES applied in all of EM’s factories.
Your assignment includes:

Define MES strategies for multiple production areas including highly complex semiconductor Front- and Backend facilities
Coordinate modeling and implementation of the full shop floor management in the MES
Coordination additional related activities: modeling and implementation of production business processes, user interfaces, reporting, component development and equipment integration to the associated automation layer
Define and implement change management processes within the MES and associated workflows
Coordinate the integration and interfacing with related systems (ERP, legacy database, test data software, etc.
Support and assist production staff for MES related issues, questions and requests while analyzing and reducing support calls / issues
Coordinate MES system upgrades and application updates with IT
Manage MES systems documentation, prepares technical and user documentation and conducts system training and certifications of users

You will work closely on a highly interdisciplinary level with different departments like IT, engineering, maintenance, logistics and operations. This in a highly multicultural environment. As a technical lead for all MES implementations, documentation and presentation of your work results according EM’s business processes will be an important part of your responsibility. This position offers a wide responsibility where you need to identify and solve problems creatively without guidance while multi-tasking in an ever-changing environment.

Your profile

Bachelor in Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
Project Management – able to work on several projects simultaneously meeting time and cost targets
Highly analytical, an excellent communicator both written and verbal with technical leadership skills
Used to work in multicultural team settings
Strong autonomy in his field and capability for team work

Professional requirements

At least 5 years professional experience with implementation of MES solutions in the semiconductor industry
MES integration experience with ERP and other software applications as well as automating shop-floor equipment
Good understanding of production shop-floor management possibly in a highly complex environment (semiconductors)
Software development experience using MES software, Microsoft .Net, ASP .Net, C# VB.NET, Java frameworks, SQL Server, Oracle etc.

Language Skills

Fluent English; French and German an advantage
