Job Title: Assembler - Vial Wash Line (2nd Shift)

Description :
This position will support the Vial Wash Line, Aftermarket Kitting, and Consumables department. The Assembler will perform a variety of production tasks including preparation of materials to assembling of final product with the use of semi-automatic filling machines and manual assembly tasks. The work of the Consumables Assembler will be done according to instructions provided in the form of drawings, written documents, and other production communication tools. Some equipment troubleshooting and repair will be required.
Work Schedule:Monday – Friday 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Perform mechanical production assembly work of high complexity and work within very close tolerances
Create sub-assemblies from a Build of Material (BOM)
Follow a quality-based sampling plan defined by a daily production schedule while maintaining production functions
Process sub-assemblies into final assemblies to be delivered to Shipping
Ensure that all related directions and documentation are accurate by reviewing quality documents, BOMs, quality checklists, and other related documentation
Retrieve material to ensure that stock items are available on the production floor and inform the Team Lead of any shortages
Ensure that all parts and sub-assemblies are correct and to desired specifications
Have sufficient understanding of the products assembled to perform trouble-shooting and rework, when needed
Perform quality control functions, including instrumentation setup
Work from quality control documents, and/or verbal and written instructions, with minimum supervision
Regularly use hand tools, calibrated tools, analytical instrumentation, computers, and automated machinery
Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment
Perform troubleshooting and repairs or adjustments on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction has been detected
Be comfortable working/producing chemically aggressive fluids, such as acids and bases
Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety regulation, as defined
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/lead
Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma or GED

·Prior complex assembly work experience

·Experience with ISO 17025 or ISO 9001
·Skilled in good laboratory practice (GLP)

·Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
·Demonstrated strong computer proficiency, including work processing, spreadsheets, and basic database knowledge
