Job Summary:  
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and validation of hardware and software for our innovative mobile and portable electronic products, with a focus on power management solutions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, ensuring that specifications and parameters align with customer focus.
- Design, develop, and validate hardware and software integrations for silicone prototypes, ensuring they meet predefined specifications.
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing and resolving issues related to product application and functionality.
- Contribute to the definition and refinement of product specifications and parameters, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with industry standards.
- Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production, including design, testing, validation, and release to market.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes, validation procedures, and customer support protocols.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mobile and portable electronics and power management technologies.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Measurement Equipment Proficiency: 
Candidates should have foundational skills in operating measurement equipment, demonstrating the ability to conduct precise and accurate data collection.

Validation Principles Knowledge: 
A solid understanding of basic validation principles is essential, enabling the candidate to effectively assess the performance and reliability of hardware and software integrations.

Hardware Development Experience:  
Prospective candidates should have experience in hardware development, specifically in PCB design, including both schematic capture and layout. This expertise should extend to the creation of prototypes and the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.

Programming Language Proficiency:  While not mandatory, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TestStand, LabVIEW, and C is highly advantageous.

These skills will contribute to the development of automated tests, data analysis, and the enhancement of hardware functionality.

The role requires a proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of hardware and software validation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in product development.
