STMicroelectronics is a semiconductor manufacturer which evolves in an innovative and dynamic environment at the edge of the new technologies.

We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer specialized in Computer Vision for our site of Paris
You will join the « Vertical Applications & Partnerships » team part of the Micro Controller Division for which Computer Vision is a key application field for Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.
The job holder will :
- Analyze computer vision and image classification use cases
- Evaluate full imaging path from camera acquisition to image pre-processing to feeding a neural network
- Help marketing and architects defining future computer vision product HW roadmap
- Work on proof of concepts including SW and HW
- Benchmark competitor solutions (tool, software, hardware, ecosystem)
- Ensure optimal matching between the technical solutions and customer needs for their Vertical Applications
- Guide customers and partners worldwide to adopt ST AI Computer Vision solutions

At the heart of ST AI strategy, you will work in close collaboration with Marketing, other technical teams and our regional teams all over the world. You will have the opportunity to travel worldwide to meet our customers and partners with the dynamic support of ST local teams.

Profile

Education Level Required - BAC+5 (INGENIEUR,DESS,DEA...), Years of Work Experience - 5 to 20,.The Other skills required are Expertise in Computer Vision and camera pipeline including HW architecture
Background in Machine Learning
Strong communication and synthetization skills
Software: OpenCV, OpenMP, Python, C, C++
AI framework: Keras, Tensorflow, Caffe...
Fluent English
