Join our highly collaborative, fun and passionate team in Paris/Nairobi office for our market internship for April 2020,if you are passionate about financial inclusion and want to experience the perks of a startup life.

Asilimia, a fintech startup that enables users to use one of the biggest and most popular mobile money wallets mpesa for free,is looking for a marketing intern to join its Paris/Nairobi-based team. Together with the team, you will design, implement, and refine our marketing campaigns.

As an intern, you will benefit from real world experience in a high-tech marketing environment. As an integral part of the Marketing team, you will gain hands on experience in marketing to the Kenyan market through online and offline channels as well as being involved in event planning launches, digital asset development and marketing campaign/initiative executions.
Some of the perks that come with working for Asilimia, you will work from one of the biggest startup campus in Europe Station F,access to cheap high quality housing in Paris, and an option to work from a secondary location that comes with unlimited freshly brewed premium fair trade coffee ,tea and free beer every day from 6pm.(physical working will be paused till the end of covid 19)

Unfortunately though this is an unpaid internship.

Preferred Experience

Essential Functions:

·  Supporting the creation and management of email and digital campaigns, and newsletters from content to design deliverable
·  Assisting with research and data analysis on targeted verticals or market trends and creating reports on initiative results
·  Research popular trends on Google and Facebook.
·  Analyze the performance of the content on our site.
·  Create social images and graphics to share on social media and on the site. ** Preferred Qualifications:** Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
·  - Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
·  Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
