The Central Compliance team within Compliance has a wide variety of responsibilities including licensing, regulation development tracking and dissemination, policy management, training and overall management of SGs interactions with our regulators.

This internship will focus on a review of the communications tools used by the team and the information stored on them. This internship will give you a detailed insight into the work of Central Compliance – a team that plays an important part in SGs management of its conduct and compliance risk.

Mission

Main Responsibilities:

·  Undertake a review of our communication tools, including some development and design related work
·  Assist in policy documentation review
·  Assist in training documentation review
·  Any other adhoc tasks as assigned

Desired profile

Profile

·  Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Law or similar
·  Ability to use standard office technology or a willingness to learn (SharePoint, excel etc)
·  Able to think for yourself, ask questions and come up with creative or interesting solutions
·  Interested to develop and enhance our communications tools
·  Keen to work hard and be part of a busy team
·  Fluent English is mandatory

This is a 1-3 month internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period.
