As part of a strong business franchise in SG CIB Global Markets Cross-Asset division, you will join South East Asia & Australia team coverage, providing assistance and support to the sales team to achieve #1 coverage in the region.

This is a minimum 1-year traineeship in Singapore for a sales assistant role covering South East Asia clients.

The candidate will be given extensive on-the-job training which will equip him/her with autonomy to be successful in this role.

Mission

Role Description:

·  The ideal candidate will be in charge of clients' sales support, generating documents, booking of trades, including pricing
·  He/she will be in constant interaction with various departments such as Trading, Structuring, Legal and Compliance, IT, Client Support Unit on daily BAU matters as well as involved in automation and process enhancement projects
·  The candidate who demonstrates a strong sales-oriented personality will be given the opportunity to expand the client database in close collaboration with other sales' teams

Requirements:

·  Available immediately
·  Fresh graduate with global market internships or 1 year of sales & trading experience
·  Strong command in English and another Southeast Asian language
·  Good Degree in Business/ Finance / Banking or related discipline
·  Results-oriented and capable of working under stress in a fast-paced environment
·  Fast learner and detail-oriented to be able to provide efficient trade documentation
·  Numerically savvy
·  Good IT skills and proficiency in Bloomberg and VBA will be a plus, but not critical

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
