Mission

Support the MARK COOs & the MARK BL Heads for the region and facilitate the business lines activity

·  Support projects either directly or as a support to BL COO (new products / activity set-up, IT / process evolution, change in organization, etc)
·  Perform ad hoc studies on behalf of BL COO (costs, new businesses, new set-up)
·  May represent the BL internally:
- On behalf of BL COO Head, interacts with other parts of SG (interaction with other BL)
- Point of interaction with MARK / COO (regarding all matters for MARK policies, guidelines, transversal commercial program)
- Interacts with Support functions regarding products, new products, processes and regulatory issues pertaining to the business he supervises

·  May support the BL COO for Operational Excellence - Identifying problems on processes and taking corrective actions (from simple quick wins to launching an improvement program)

·  Create and build reports for Management and Front Office Sales / Traders
·  Produce weekly PNL dashboard
·  Investigate and rectify booking issues Reporting & Governance

·  Report to MARK COO Singapore
·  Work closely with the BL managers and other COOs in the region
·  Interact with the country COOs (Korea, China, Japan) for any issues / projects with a local dimension, working as a team (coordination with the country COO, transparency, mutual timely information)
·  Work with BL COOs in Paris Head Office to coordinate responses from Asia, and to ensure alignment in business processes between Asia and Paris

Be the contact of the business lines for support and control functions matter

·  Provide interface with the support functions on his/her perimeter (OPER, ITEC, ACFI, DEO, JUR, etc)
·  Facilitate and simplify while limiting the operational risk the booking and the processes of the BL transactions
·  Partake to the relevant projects within the support functions to implement BL developments
Control and supervise the activity

·  Performs training on the various handbooks (MARK SHB, MARK trading handbook)
·  Controls the handbooks are carefully applied
·  Liaising with the relevant teams within MARK, ensure proper allocation of scarce resources within the BL
·  Police Front Office staff (compliance with policies), and provide guidance when necessary
·  Control the activity (FBK & 2nd level controls, Passerelles, Follow-up of audit bodies recos). Assist in resolving and investing FBK alerts
·  May be the entry point for operational risk issues on the scope and pilot operational risk indicators for the BL
·  Perform regular Permanent Supervision controls for BLs
·  Coordinate Business Continuity tests and update Business Continuity Plans / Business Impact Assessments for MARK BLs in Singapore
·  Investigate and report operational risk incidents
