Your environment
At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Global Markets division (MARK) of SG Corporate and Investment Banking. MARK offers a cross-asset approach along all its offerings : Research, Investment & Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Prime Services to asset managers, pension funds, companies, private banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, family offices, sovereign funds and distributors worldwide.
The One Delta Index Flow desk is a trading team belonging to the Equities and Derivatives business line within the Global Banking & Investor Solutions division.
Your role
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
- Contribute to the specification and development of innovative tools for the traders to:
- Price and analyze client transactions;
- Optimize the return on inventory held;
- Allocate balance sheet and measure profitability;
- Follow up on market risks and scarce resources consumption.
Help traders monitor the Asian market environment by collecting news and intelligence, in order for them to articulate their trading strategies and product pushes. That includes, among others, Dividends, Financing and Repo parameters.
Participate to the daily operation of the desk, including the generation of trading position reports and other operational tasks.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see http://www.civiweb.com/.
Your profile
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in finance
You ideally have a previous experience in Finance
You are fluent in English
You are proficient with Excel/VBA/SQL/Access
