Job description



Responsibilities

·  Processing settlement activity for Money Market, Interest Rate, Credit, FX and Equity Derivative trading activity, including reconciliation and break clearance
·  Ensure all aspects of OTC Derivative trade settlement affirmation are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
·  Ensure that the affirmation process is performed for unmatched deals, including the chasing of confirmations from counterparties as required via email and phone
·  Ensure that all relevant payment messages are authorized and released before the currency cut-off time
·  Ensure that all payment messages are generated successfully
·  Maintain and exchange static data and settlement instructions for Counterparts and Clients
·  Promptly identify, track and settle all outgoing and incoming payments
·  Perform fail management and break resolution related to OTC Derivative cash settlements
·  Provide top class customer service as it relates to client's requests, responding to client needs and queries in an efficient manner while participating in customer services initiatives
·  Investigate queries and activities across the different product groups by extracting data from various systems & liaising with Middle Office
·  Ensure that policies, procedures, best practices, mission and objectives set by management are adhered to on daily basis
·  Follow-up to ensure amendments are done
·  Identify root causes for the discrepancies and make suggestions to implement a permanent fix
