Member of "Market Technology" department, the "Prime Service" team aims at designing, implementing and maintaining electronic trading solutions (Order Management Systems & Execution Management Systems) for internal users as well as external clients constituting the base of SG agency business.

Mission
Your role
As a VIE, you will join the “Prime Service" team and will be working in an Agile environment. Your team is composed of cross-functional specialists, and is responsible for the whole application lifecycle (including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance & support, decommission).
In the scope of the Agency Capacity Management project, you will participate actively to the gathering of requirements, definition of problems, design and implementation of solutions to improve the management of capacity of systems for executions, clearing, booking/payment & reporting on major financial exchanges in Asia (cash and derivatives). In particular, this work, in coordination with Global project teams, will contribute to:
- Organizing workshops with relevant experts to identify technical/operational limitations along the business chains.
- Prioritizing regular stress tests for key business chains,
- Building real time capacity monitoring and business dashboards,
- Formalizing capacity management planning and defining service level agreements between the different parties involved.
You will be sitting among the “Prime Service” team members, with whom you will have daily interactions in a team driven by direct business needs. You will also interact with other departments and services (Business, Operation, IT) of the company as required to implement the proposed solutions.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Profile
Your profile
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in computer science.
Ideally you are familiar with Python and project management and you have some experience with reporting tools and frameworks.
Experience in implementation of monitoring tools, in financial Industry or machine learning knowledge will be a plus.
You are fluent in English.
French and Chinese are optional.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Scripting language (shell, perl, python, Unix).
Curious, autonomous and passionate, you understand the problems presented and use empirical thinking to identify root causes. You make use of your knowledge, experience and creative thinking to deliver ingenious, simple and efficient solutions.
