Responsibilities

During your VIE mission you will oversee these responsibilities:

·  Production : as part of a global organization and working in a shift rotation (follow the sun support model),
·  maintain high level of support to internal client of Open IT platform for front office desk trading and Risq department for risk calculation and restitution systems
·  resolve issues, track and document all incidents, escalate complains and claims to top management
·  provide regular feedback to the business (real-time customer alerts/incidents notifications) and release customer advisories for upcoming production changes
·  Projects
·  Work with clients (risk analysts, product owners, traders...) and ITEC teams to implement and improve the Open IT platform and its capabilities (MAXX, SG Lambda, Python …)
·  Enrich the platform usage by prototyping new use cases for business partners: improve market risk and PnL reporting, data quality, aggregation functions ….
·  Study and analyze problems, propose solutions and design experiments
·  Transverse collaboration
·  Participate to innovation challenges and initiatives (Hackathon…) and have a disruptive approach to review day to day activities

Profile Required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell:

This VIE in New YORK is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .

Your profile:

·  Graduated from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master's degree in IT/Computer Science. You have programming skills.
·  You ideally have a previous experience in a Banking or Finance environment and/or strong functional knowledge on financial markets/risk environments (fixed income products)
·  You are fluent in English.
·  You are proficient with Python, SQL and continuous delivery tools (Jira for change management + software factory tools: Jenkins/Git/Gerrit...)

Skills/Abilities:

·  Attentive to details, accurate and well organized.
·  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
·  Able to work under stressful situation - be positive.
·  Analytical thinking mindset and ability to deal with multi-cultural and multi-layer of clients.
·  Co-operative and willing to assist others.
