Job description



Responsibilities

Deliver technology services for LDP (Listed Derivatives Processing) systems for analysis, design, development, test, implementation and warranty period. Understand client organization’s direction, structure and requirements. Drive execution of projects from requirements, GAPS analysis, AS-IS to BE delivery including managing budgets, risks and issues. Drive implementation using resources across functional departments, such as technical teams, operational teams and others as designated by committee or reporting lines. Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations. Document and analyze required information and data. Assist with implementing systems or process flow enhancements in order to improve efficiency and client offerings. Develop test strategies and plans, test case scenarios and assist with end user testing. Prepare user manuals & support documentation. Ensure the projects are delivered on time with high quality in accordance with stated business and technical objectives. Track key milestones and health of the project being executed. Assist service delivery team in complex support issues and after-hours application/users support when required. Ensure knowledge transfer with service delivery team. Run PDDs (Process Driven Development), gain governance approval and ensure sufficient resources allocation for their successful execution. Work closely with the development team to produce detailed roadmaps outlining the strategic direction & deliverables for products. Develop internal and external meeting objectives and agendas. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately. Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.

Profile required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience working at a global financial institution performing IT project management including implementation, testing and maintenance of client facing financial platforms (including GMI and Clearvision) to work directly with clients and technical and operational teams to reduce risk and improve efficiency (process flow and automation) and client offerings. Must also have the following: 3 years of professional experience compiling, completing, and analyzing system capabilities and proposing and documenting prospective developments; 3 years of professional experience running standardized query language (SQL) queries to retrieve data from databases (including GMI and UBIX); 3 years of professional experience preparing IT system user manuals and support documentation and working with developers to produce detailed roadmaps outlining the strategic direction and deliverables for products; 1 year of professional experience working with Reporting and Business Intelligence Tools (including SQL Server Reporting Services, Analytical Services, Crystal Reports, Business Objects); 1 year of professional experience working with SQL (including SQL server).
