Responsibilities

Major Accountabilities/Principal responsibilities:

Duties

·  Product scope: Vanilla Equity Derivatives Products including Delta one and Financing products (DPS, ELS, EMTN, CB, Repo, ETF, Stock loan…) as well as hedge products (Cash Equities, Future and listed Option, Fx…)
·  Assist with the monitoring and booking of vanilla product in the FO and Back-Office (BO) information systems including negotiated or market event and product maturity
·  Control over the quality and completeness of the recorded data
·  Analyse and regularize the discrepancies reported by the Control Middle Office and other stakeholders
·  Assist with client reporting and client queries
·  Follow-up of transversal issues (systems, financial, accounting ...)
·  Streamline the different workflow through automation and process review
·  Contribute to defining specifications and performing UAT for new information systems
·  Ensure booking timeliness; provide justifications for any late bookings and amendments
·  Write down / update procedures linked to sensitive processes and controls
·  Assist FO on their specific requests with effective and innovative solutions
·  Work closely with other teams ((Traders, Engineers, Sales, Other Middle Offices, Risq, Back Offices, IT) in different regions (Asia, Europe, America) to deliver a seamless client experience
·  React in a timely manner to incidents and develop action plan for the long term

Profile Required

Key Skill areas & Knowledge required:

·  Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics and Information Technology or similar
·  Vanilla equity derivative products knowledge
·  Demonstrates operational risk detection and analysis capabilities
·  Client focus: consistently search for ways to improve our client service
·  Excellent communication skills; required to work with various internal partners
·  Strong and sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Fluent English is mandatory

Within the Middle Office department, the team is responsible for managing in the different information systems the post-trading activities related to Securities Financing activities for the following trading desk:
Delta One, ETF Market Making, Stock Loan, Financing and Synthetic Prime Brokerage

Trade Support 's mission is to ensure all new trades and life cycle events are correctly reflected in the relevant information systems / database:

·  for Front Office to have a clear and accurate view of their positions and risks,
·  for Back office to ensure smooth settlement for all trades,
·  for Finance and Risq to compute economic and accounting PnL in due time.
As first link of the operational chain, Trade Support is also the first level of control for the business
