Responsibilities

Main responsibilities and missions:

The candidate will support the team on a series of activities including, among others: market research, drafting of marketing materials for pitches and deals, valuation analysis and project management.

The candidate will be responsible, with the supervision of the senior members of the team, of the accuracy and quality of the material produced for the clients.

He/she will also be in constant contacts with the relationship bankers, the industry teams based in Paris, London and Frankfurt and other product teams such as: financing, syndication, compliance and legal teams.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell:

This VIE in Milan is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com, in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.

Profile Required

Your profile:

Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University with a specialization Finance / Corporate Finance.

Previous experience in a bank, in M&A and/or ECM.

You are fluent in English and have a good level of Italian (The candidate will need to communicate to the team and to several clients in Italian).

You are proficient in Office application.

A good knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus.

Competencies:

Accounting - The candidate needs to have excellent knowledge of accounting principles.

Valuation - The candidate needs to have excellent training in valuation techniques.

Ability to work under pressure - The candidate will be required to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

The candidate will be part of the Corporate Finance Italian team as an analyst working along with 1 Managing Director, 1 Vice President, 2 Associate and 2 Analysts.

He/she will assist the team in the origination and execution of Mergers & Acquisition and Equity Capital Markets transactions on Italian corporate clients.

The Corporate Finance team is part of the “Coverage & Investment Banking” (CORI) network of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking division. CORI is in charge of marketing globally the whole span of the investment banking products of the bank to its major clients.
