The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting one or many Salesperson(s) in their daily tasks
A key responsibility will be to manage the interactions with OPER, mostly ensuring the good processing of the tickets and settlement of the trade
The Sales Assistant will be interfacing with many other teams internally (Trading, ITEC, MARK/CMU) and also with clients and their Middle or Back Offices
Dealing activity on his / her own name:
Respond to client’s Request For Quote and price (given FCA approval)
Execute trades for a given portfolio of clients (given FCA approval)
Client on-boarding process:
Opening of new & sub-accounts in SCOW / BDR
Preparation & processing of credit line requests
Launching requests for new CVAR limit though On-Boarding tool
Monitor counterpart credit limits & request extensions / renewals as required
Support Desk's Salsespersons in trade capture & processing:
Booking trades upon instructions of Salespersons
Ensuring efficient trade follow up with OPER all the way to settlement & confirmations
Assist Salespersons on pre-deal checks
Act as back up when requested for trade execution with other clients
Assist in collecting orders on primary issue
Reviewing assignment requests via electronic platforms
Send Indicative levels to clients when requested by clients
Client Relationship Management:
Maintaining Client Data in CRM tools
Collecting / analysing flow information
Manage client access to SG research website
Organise road shows with DCM
Organise client visits / Complete call reports in iC
Assist in the preparation of client visits and roadshows: preparing presentations / trade ideas & managing logistics
Post prices / runs, Sales & Trading comments provided by Traders / Sales and published Research in Client’s Bloomberg chats
Pick-up clients request by emails / phone when Desk’s Salespersons are busy
Maintaining and improving existing tools used by the desk
Working in cooperation with XONE team
Support Head of Desk to gather justifications for control purpose
The VIE assignment in a nutshell:
This VIE in Stockholm is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Graduate with a Master degree from Business School or University in Finance
You ideally have a previous experience in a bank or financial institution
You ideally have a prvious experience on a trading floor
You are fluent in English.
You have good command of MS Office applications.

A strong awareness and sensibility to operational and regulatory risks so as to identify any abnormal events occurring in the remit of his operational tasks and environment.
