Job title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

This is your role. What part will you play?

·        As a Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for piloting, implementing &

·        maintaining topics, that arise from Grid Control Team in regards of Test automation and CI/CD pipeline.

·  Automate Regression Test Cases using Service Trace tool
·  Part of all scrum ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Review and Retrospective meetings.
·  Identify Technical gaps (work on domain & tools fitness for the Grid Control Team )
·  Front runner on test automation / establish tool solutions for the future.
·  Train & engage the BLR SP7 team in automation.
·  Closely work with onsite/ offsite test managers and report test automation progress & success.

·        Qualification: BE / B. Tech / MCA / ME / M. Tech

Knowledge:

·  Knowledge in research and development processes (Software based solutions and products) ; 
·  Knowledge in expert functions like Software Development / Architecture, Software Testing
·  Exposure to and working experience in the relevant Siemens sector domain (Industry, Energy, Infrastructure and Cities) required.
·  Knowledge in global projects and collaboration with intercultural team is preferred.

Experience:

·  Experience in Service Trace Tool
·  Experience in any of the test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI, Protractor)
·  Programming Languages: Bash/Shell Scripting, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Java, Node JS, C#
·  Continuous Integration: Jenkins, TeamCity, Eclipse, Jenkins, Git runner.
