Job description



The Reliability Engineer 2 is responsible for:

·  Completing semi-complex planning of detailed product development objectives and assisting in completing reliability activities on a dedicated projects.
·  Completing the preparation of reliability protocols and reliability specifications with assistance.
·  Reviewing results to determine that products perform in the intended manner.
·  Assisting with the development of prototypes for testing and provides technical assistance on design feasibility.
·  Completing and maintaining detailed and comprehensive records of all reliability work.
·  Completing product issues documentation for future reference and problem resolution.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

·  Reliability modeling, plan writing and reporting
·  Candidate must be a great communicator, independent worker, and a team player
·  dFMEA, accelerated life testing and root cause analysis
·  Knowledge of building fixtures using labview and or CAD
·  Labview experience desired
·  IVD or MDD experience desired
·  BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience (such as biomedical engineering or electrical). Certification may be required in some areas.
·  3+ years of successful experience in related field
·  Travel may be up to 10% for this position
