Based in our Cambridge UK office, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop state-of-the-art software technologies.

Our Open Tools group is dedicated to coding pioneering solutions that are adopted throughout the Siemens PLM Software portfolio. This is an ideal opening for a graduate interested in Computer Aided Geometric Design to join a highly talented team working at the forefront of this field.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we enhance our solutions to embrace emerging technologies and initiatives like 3D Printing, Digitalization and Industry 4.0.

What are my responsibilities?

This is a Software Development role and day to day activities will include:

· Communication and collaboration within the team and with customers
· Project responsibility, including: specification, design, implementation, testing and documentation
· Analysis, design and implementation of software solutions and algorithms
· Deploying and testing in a wide range of environments
· Ensuring ongoing quality of delivery to customers
· Maintaining existing functionality and troubleshooting customer issues

What do I need to qualify for the role?

Qualifications:

· A degree (2:1 or better) or higher qualification in a numerate subject (e.g. Mathematics, sciences, engineering), Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar is required.

Skills:

· Excellent communication and team working skills
· Organisation and time management
· An energetic and proactive approach
· Critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills
· Knowledge of a high level programming language such as C++ is required for some roles.
