About the role

As part ofour Amesim Physics Electrical team, you will play a crucial role in developingapplication-oriented content for Simcenter Amesim, with a specific focus onelectrical devices and systems. Joining us in our highly strategicElectrification and Decarbonization journey.

You willengage with the team on innovative software development related to the modelingand simulation of complex chemical/electrochemical phenomena occurring withinbatteries and fuel cells. You will also contribute actively to the developmentof application-oriented tools that enhance the handling of these new modelingcapabilities for our end users.

Throughoutall stages of the product’s life cycle: from ideation to modeling, fromimplementation to testing, to maintenance, you will be involved in every stage.

Furthermore,you will have the opportunity to apply the developed models to real-worldapplications, supporting their valorization through demos and documentation.

Your qualifications

We wouldlove to hear from you as a talented engineer graduated, or if you have amaster’s degree in engineering/science or PhD, with proven experience designingand implementing physical electrochemical models in a simulation tool.

             You join us with a solid foundationin chemistry/electrochemistry and knowledge in battery science (experience withfuel cell is a plus).

             You have previous experience usingsimulation software (Simcenter Amesim, Modelica, Simulink, GT, SimcenterSTAR-CCM+, COMSOL or equivalent).

             You have existing programmingskills (C, Python) and a strong appetite to learn new ones.

             You are comfortable contributingand working in a team within an international context, listening to otherperspectives, disagreeing constructively, helping to reach a consensus, andcommitting to the shared decision.
