What are your responsibilities?

• Responsibility for the technically correct condition and the timely availability of the segments, which form part of the Maintenance Section

• Liaisons between the various maintenance and operation departments to manage scheduled maintenance tasks

• Chairing of internal meetings within the Maintenance Section

• Co-ordination of the interfaces between the Maintenance Sections

• Responsible for appropriate actions in the event of incidents within the Maintenance Section

• Specifies the requirements for the recruitment of personnel in co-operation with the Human Resources Manager and suggests training programs for the staff under his management

• Optimisation of maintenance tasks as result of ongoing analysis

• Checking of Inspection results and deciding on appropriate actions

• Analysing of the maintenance history for the related equipment and facilities

• Responsible for the reporting system to ensure the availability of sufficient and suitable spares for  his area of supervision

• Responsible for the speedy availability of suitable manpower, adequate tools and materials in events of incidents

What do you need to qualify for this job?

• Has a Bachelor’s degree or above in an appropriated technical field and five years of work experience

• Has at least five years of experience in the field of administration skills and desirable in public transportation

• Has more than three years of experience in a managerial skills

• Has a good command of both the spoken and written English language

• Has good computer skills

• Has a good understanding of analytical and investigative principles and procedures

• Has a leadership ability
