Project Application Engineer

Job description

For our Mobility Division in Kartal, we are looking for a Project Application Engineer (PE) who will support the delivery of a Project or Portfolio for signaling systems and train control equipment, contributing to the overall Rail Automation Business. The Project Application Engineer will work in various locations, dependent on the requirements of the business.

What are my responsibilities?

· Carry out commissioning and testing on site
· Gather requirements from customer and negotiate best, suitable and improved solutions
· Analysis of the requirements and evaluate design solutions for projects
· Prepare technical specifications for complying with the requirements of Contract Projects with different levels of complexity
· Implement technical solutions (HW, SW and Systems)
· Prepare handbooks and support Client with training sessions
· Support Service Installations
· Participate in the creation of the work plans
· Collaborate to implement and apply Rail Signaling Security procedures

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
· Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in automation (PLCs and control systems SW/HW development), preferably in metro/rail signaling projects
· Programming experience in languages such as C, C++ and/or Matlab
· Experience working with or demonstrable knowledge of HW, SW, networks and radio
· Knowledge and experience on real time systems under Linux/OS environment
· Knowledge in CENELEC product development lifecycle

What else do I need to know?

· Military service should be completed for male candidates
· No restrictions for travelling
