Job Description

In this position, the accountant will provide general reporting and accounting support to Siemens companies under the responsibility of Reporting & Data Consolidation North America (RDC NAM)

Responsibilities:

Prepare various financial/accounting reports and activities which may include:
•Cost Center controlling and reporting
•Productivity controlling
•Preparation of key figures analysis
•Project reporting
•Factory reporting
•Data processing, consolidation and maintenance of Purchase Orders
•Quick win automation and continuous improvement, e.g. VBA macros, automation tools

Guide reporting and accounting activities in accordance with IFRS/GAAP requirements

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

•Up to 2 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge. Large corporation experience a plus.
•Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments
•Ability to proficiently use various software systems as it relates to Accounting and Finance, ERPs such as SAP and ability to proficiently understand various Siemens related systems
•Highly proficient technical skills in MS Office applications required (particularly Excel)
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize and thrive in a fast paced environment
•Interface with international customers and support team
•Strong customer service and teamwork skills, quality and change oriented with initiative and eager ability to learn
•There may be 25 percent travel associated with this position.
