What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to develop new suppliers and/or monitor and improve the quality level of current suppliers at Distribution System Business Unit. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you are to ensure adherence to the Siemens Smart Infrastructure and Distribution Systems supplier quality management policies and procedures. Also, will ensure the implementation of quality requirements while collaborating with our sourcing committee and suppliers.

Your Challenges

·  Ensure critical processes are lived-in, assessed and improved (through defined standardized Quality Audits, supplier pre-assessments and VDA 6.3 audits)
·  Implement quality and continuous Improvement methodology and tools such problem resolution process (PDCA, Six Sigma, 8D, DMAIC) and LEAN principles (Lean manufacturing and business)
·  Implementing initiatives and process efficiency measurement, monitor performance accordingly.
·  Ensure high supplier quality level trough supplier development and monitoring for low and medium voltage products
·  Support, facilitate and establish New Development, Sourcing Process & Supplier Development as a partner of procurement department
·  Setting and release of supplier selection process
·  Sign Quality Assurance Agreement (QAA) with supplier in coordination with SPR
·  Facilitate D/P FMEA and inspection plan
·  Set the parameters for inspection
·  Supplier complaint handling, ensure Root cause analysis and CAPA
·  Support procurement/logistics for ScNCC claims
·  Reporting of supplier Q-KPI as per SQM HQ guidelines

Your background

·  Degree in Engineering.
·  Master of Business Administration (MBA), Quality and/or Material Engineer and/or similar – desirable.
·  + 08 years’ experience in working within Quality and Supplier development/monitoring.
·  Desirable experience in process management ideally in system as well as product and project business, preferably in the energy distribution system.
·  Availability to travel in Brazil (15%).
·  Quality/EHS and Auditor trainings, such as ISO 9001/14001/45001, PDCA, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, DMAIC, Lean, Operational Excellence and/or Continuous Improvement.
·  MS Office package (excel, word, etc).
·  Fluent English.
