Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Rothschild, Wisconsin service center is has an opening for an Electrical/Instrument Engineer. The Electrical/Instrument engineer is a mid-level position that reports to the Engineering Services Manager.
Overall Responsibilities:
· The Electrical/Instrument Engineer will oversee projects that are in industrial wastewater and implement applications that are worldwide, working with a variety of EPCs and end users
· This Position requires a large amount of interaction with these external customers
Responsibilities:
· Electrical/Instrument Engineers are expected to function as generalists in the discipline
· Estimate costs of equipment, materials and labor for engineering projects
· Understands and applies customer specifications for projects
· Develops a wide range of engineering and design documents
· Participates in technical meetings and correspondence
· Develops application programs for any of the various control system platforms used by the customers
· Conducts factory acceptance testing of completed systems and equipment
· Provides field support of project startup and commissioning activities and more
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
· Associate degree in related field
· 3+ years of experience working with industrial customers
· 20% travel may be required (including international)
· Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
· Experience with AutoCAD and instrument selection software preferred
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
