Job description

Siemens Healthcare is looking for Application development and support of VB.NET, SQL applications.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Responding and resolving incidents reported by the customer. May be required to clarify the details of the incident with the customer.
• Will need to determine if the problem is end user, application, or network/server and if needed, address an incident with other teams e.g the Network/server team.
• Provide direct resolution to service incidents if root cause is application related
• Utilize provided requirements to develop improvements to services, or if required, new services in VB.NET, SQL.
• Understand and analyze the requirements of the project. Realize and implement them with highest quality and on time.
• Create and implement unit, integration, sub-system and system level test cases.
• Fully unit test and integration test new/changed services prior to delivery to the customer. If needed, support customer with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Operating Hours:
• Monday – Friday 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm CET.

• experience with VB.Net 2013 (Visual Studio 2013), SQL Server 2008 and newer, and MS Access 2010 and newer.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor
• Flair to learn new technologies and thrive in an agile environment
• Conversant with typical software development processes / methodologies and exposure in working with multi-site global teams.
